Hi All... long time listener, first time caller.
I recently acquired an '82 Westy (I promise to post the story about how I got Fred along with my interior rebuild over the last few weeks) but what I would LOVE your help on is where to go for a weekend of off-grid camping, 2 vehicles (Fred the Westy and a Tacoma with a roof top tent), with mountain biking nearby. I've spent about 150 hours working on Fred over the last few months and I want to get out there an camp! With everything being "closed" around me, I need some help finding a slice of heaven in the Northeast.
Thanks and I can't wait to get some quality time with Fred. |

Thanks, this sounds promising especially since I'm in MA and my buddy with the Taco is in southern VT. Can you clarify the comment above... is that a route number, road, ski hill...? _________________ Fred aka AdventureVan- '82 AC Westy

Route 2 goes through top of MA to Williamstown, then turns into Rouye 7 for a bit, then switches back to NY 2 as you cross the border from the Bay State to the EmpireState.
There is a pull off right at the top of the Hill , maybe 300 meters insideNY with spectacular night meteorite viewing....no light pollution. _________________ .ssS! |
