OK open for what will work when sending these pop out windows. Boxing packaging ideas. Do want them to arrive intack. _________________ Volkswagen: We tune what we drive.

Here's one option, not definitive but, a start.

I just shipped 2 Bay Bus jalousie windows across the country. They are fairly heavy and I was worried they wouldn't survive. I bought a 100' x 1' roll of bubble wrap (with the big bubbles) from Home Depot for $12. I wrapped the hell out of them, and then packed tightly in cardboard. I literally used 50' of wrap per window. They arrived perfectly fine.
I guess my only advice would be to not pack them small just to save on shipping size / weight. Give them lots of padding and they should be fine.
Good luck! |

Take the latches off. Sandwich the panes together with one layer of thick cardboard between them. Wrap them together with 4+ wraps of bubblewrap. Then make a cardboard box to wrap them. Write, "Unicorn and Rainbow Prints" on them so snowflakes won't damage them. _________________

You are over thinking this. This is not fine crystal you're shipping here. Wrap it in some cardboard and tape it up. Short of putting a forklift tang through it nothing is going to happen. This is tempered glass here, it'll get more abuse in the car then shipping it.
Have you ever wondered how a frame less door glass stays together ? We ship door glasses by common carrier in nothing more then the packing sleeve they are in.
If you are still concerned, find a box that is just a little wider then the glass and make a little slotted support top and bottom and send it on its way.
