Looking at both options for my syncro. The NAHT seems like a better top. But does anyone know if you can still use the westy upper bunk with a Reimo hightop? They seem a little lower than the NAHT. Also Reimos dont seem to have a way of installing side window for ventilation. Anyone want to chime on this?
Thanks |

You should probably specify which Reimo model you're referencing. _________________ Casey--

This kind of Reimo?
I went back and forth on this decision.
I love the way they look, especially on the Syncro pictured, and more aerodynamic looking for sure. Definitely smaller than the NAHT and less options for windows (although Dr. Bjorns Auto in Canada does sell windows for the Reimo.)
The cost is less for the Reimo, but again the NAHT comes with windows and the aforementioned windows offered by Dr. Bjorns aren't cheap.
I think you'll have to modify the flip-out portion of the bed with either choice.
I'm happy with mine but it could have gone either way...In the end, it came down to what was available to me with the least amount of transport stress. The NAHT was available locally and the Reimo was not. _________________ Joe T.

Thats the style yes, thanks for the picture. I have one local to me which makes sense. But Im concerned how much sleeping room is available up there as we use our upper bunk a lot. And of course windows. Nearest NAHT to me is 10 hour round trip sadly. I do like the NAHT better but trnasport is prohibitive at the moment |

One of my very favorite T3 pics. I've poked my head up into a couple of Reimos and they definitely feel smaller up there. But that could be because the ones I checked out didn't have windows, so it's hard to say. My NAHT has been fine for sleeping, and that's even losing three or four inches because it's on a tin top. _________________ Joe T.

Thanks chiming in on this thread. Its a local option which is great, but will not ultimately dictate my decision. The Reimos that you looked at, did any of them have upper bunks installed in them? |

There's a youtube video of a reimo hightop that shows a slide out bed (~10min in), you can also kind of get the feeling of the space up top. I've gone back and forth on this, I like the look and space of the naht, but a reimo popped up locally but it needs work.

You can still use the upper bunk on an NAHT but it has to slide forward, not hinge because there isn't enough headroom for it to flip. We use the attic in our NAHT for storage but I believe it's the roomiest for sleeping. The AdventureWagen seems like a tight fit for sleeping, the Reimo in between.
Having windows is very nice for light and ventilation although I'll say a exhaust fan (Fantastic fan, Maxx Air, etc.j would be mandatory regardless.
Regardless, I think you'll love the 24/7 standing room in a high top.

The standing room and better insulation are the driving factors here. As long as the westy upper bunk will fit ill be happy. I understand even on the naht the bunk needs to slide, so im already prepared for that. And yes a fantastic fan would be mandatory Imo |
