Workers in general are in short supply in almost all business's . Vermont & New Hampshire are now requiring you look for work to keep your unenjoyment benefits.
|
which is bullshit because all these people who "can't find work" play this game where they go apply for a job, get an interview then get the job offered to them. IF they show up it's usually for a day then they leave and start the game all over again.
my wife is pretty high up the chain at the FDA. these are jobs STARTING at 70k/year and people are pulling this shit with her. |
I quit looking last September. Life is good I stay up late sleep in and maybe have a beer with my lunch 😀 why mess up a good thing? |

I think you're confusing retirement home with a swiss euthanasia clinic! _________________ "we're here on Earth to fart around" kurt vonnegut

Wrong choice of words , I'm planning for my decline, which began years ago. My children say "Dad, as soon as your eligible, we're putting you in a nursing home!" Which is followed by laughter by all. _________________ Oprn wrote: I'm getting to the age that any self propelled woman (no wheel chair or walker) looks HOT!! Oooo! look at that Babe! We pay $45 a bale for the super large 8' x 4'x 4' bales of straw here.
The family ranch picks straw up directly from the fields, after the farmer harvests his grains. Be it wheat, barely or oats.
Look for a local wheat farmer, next fall and get a bale from him. That cuts out the middle man. And you save a few $$. _________________ I have learned over the years.

Raspberry Pi’s - and no, not the eatin’ kind. All the authorized retailers are completely out of stock, and the only ones available new are being sold at insane prices by scalpers on the online rainforest. I’ve gone to buying used ones on flea-bay; if you are patient and know what you are looking for, you can often find mislabeled units selling for “cheap” - often with a case and power supply included! For example, I managed to nab a Pi4 4gb, case, and power supply for $93 the other day - still not cheap by any means, but a lot better than 99% of the other listings. _________________ 1959 Fjord Blue Volkswagen Beetle

I never realised they had any second hand value. They've made so many of them. _________________ Andy

Our wheat straw was sold to commercial mushroom farms - so win win for us. _________________ Xargaret
