But at least you can see where you need to drill to add some mounting holes. _________________ Bob 65 Notch S with Sunroof

On second thought it's not lead filled & it really looks like the original aluminum bosses need to be drilled and tapped.
I scraped off some tar gasket material that was cushioning the transmission and support bracket interface. _________________ https://imgur.com/user/FisherSquareback/posts

While trying to leave as much material as possible vs the picture above of an aftermarket unit, after an hour of careful cutting, i finally have a coilover shock in place. Now to match it on the otherside. Progress... sort of. _________________ 64 No'back Speedster "Pearl"

Wow, been without power in the garage, do to the remodel delays, for too long now. I hope 'normal' returns soon. I am way behind schedule! _________________ 64 No'back Speedster "Pearl"

Yup, that's why you don't do a "house remodel" and a project at the same time. _________________ Bob 65 Notch S with Sunroof

After spending time at a buddy's place with his skill on the lathe, my new smaller coil springs fit the end caps on the shocks. So, they went onto the assembly and everytging clears! Tomorrow I hope to have the transmission mounts, well... mounted to the bellhousing.

I finally got my new valves and support parts installed in my heads. 48x38 should allow some air movement.

I'm still in awe of the bird sucking sized valves in those heads. What carbs are you running? |

Crazy day!
Went to install the rearend, all was fine for the nose. Then, went to install the shock perch bolts and everything was misaligned. 😳
I ended up having to lift the body just off the pan with my engine hoist and use a drift to center all the bolt holes. But...
Now, to adjust the suspension to where I want it. I have 4 inches of adjustment down from where it is now. _________________ 64 No'back Speedster "Pearl"
