Was on a hillside for 40 or so years... folks shot ok ut the side glass, but managed not to kill the back glass. I was looking on CL for a bus transmission and found this. 450 mile round trip later...

I have never owned a sunroof notch that a PO didnt fill it in.

I've seen worse, and at least it came with it's own cart to move it around.
Looks like a good start to replace the purple car.
Have fun with it, as it could be a nice car to use up ALL of those spare parts you have cluttering up the back yard and shed with. Plus it should keep you out of Shannon's hair for a while. Wink

Actually, i gave away almost everything a couple years ago, so... on the hunt. I am suppose to pick up an IRS pan tomorrow. Then sort out how I want to hang a transmission.

Rockers are solid, as is everything under the fenders! The rear tray and firewall need help and the rear apron will require some serious bending.

Well that should give you some welding and grinding practice. Wink Otherwise it looks pretty solid. At least yours still had a lip for the rear window seal to grab. Laughing While my tray looked slightly better, your window lip looks very healthy compared to mine (before it's rebuild years ago).

I walked up and saw the rear glass lip, smiled to myself and started loading

For decades now....everyone in my family calls my 411 and 412 sedans....."the roach".....simply because the silhouette looks like a roach. Laughing

Cool project! Ray

I call mine the Roach because it what I think of when someone says a ride is 'roached out'.

If you decide to keep the IRS that's in the Square for your Notch, get the engine hanger brackets from that car too. It's how I did my 65, and even Keith liked it, since it uses factory parts. Wink Have you decided if this will be a cruiser, or a strip car?

Yes, the hangers will be kept. Though, I might have another solutuon.
Street or strip? Not sure yet. Deconstruct of the donor is about 65% now. Had to stop for DR. appointment.
