Made some new friends over the last couple days. Broke down travelers passing through with a blown out wheel cylinder.

Guess it's nitpicking but technically it's a Type 2 (T3) not a Type 3.

Thank you. I thought a squareback was a Type 3? Had one back 30 years ago, so I should have remembered that.

Moderators: please change thread tite to, Type 2 meets Type 2 (T3)

no I saw it and without knowing the age of the dog(s) I'm not going to comment Wink it's a litigious society these days.

as for helping stranded travelers I tip a pint in your direction.. the central NH region is magical in many ways.
though I tend to hit northern NH in the 'tourist' season. I criss-cross central NH on most of the 2ndry roads.

It goes without saying that im here to help anyone in need up this way. I get as much out of it as those being helped. Spent my earlier days traveling the country in a beat up 76’ westy, without a clue or a care in the world. Had several breakdowns that left me in towns for days and weeks.

Survived with the kindness and help of others. Id like to think that part of our community hasnt changed in 30 years. At least not as far as im concerned.

Type 3, yes?

Its on the list to retrieve some day.

I will enjoy that tipped pint!

That 76 Westy is in impressively good condition. It looks better that most of the busses people are driving here in Ohio!

I definitely think you should try and pull it out of there if you are able, if only for the OG body panels.
