With my rebuild almost completed, I am getting down to the last few items on the shelf that still need to be fitted. One of them is this item - 311 911 241A.
I cannot reference any such part on the internet, and looking through the parts manual item by item would take for ever.
Does anyone have an idea where this piece might fit on my Fastback ? Or is it another part that doesn't belong to my car ???
Thanks
G

Thanks !!
Is it crucial ? Will the car explode into a million pieces if I don't fit it right now ?

No and No. I'd venture to guess that well over 75% of Type 3's don't have these anymore because the first time the starter comes off - this gets lost. |

In fact it's quite rare for a type 3 to have one still on it. _________________ Bob 65 Notch S with Sunroof

Then I will label it and store it very carefully alongside that little plastic plug that came out of my reverse light socket - Maybe also with that piece of plastic that (doesn't) fit over the drain tubes !! A veritable collection of rare parts !!
