I believe the table above that Cusser posted is from glutamodo. Here's another table from glutamodo which includes 30Pict-3 carbs:
You need to look at the base flange# on your carb and match it to either table. This stamped number is normally on the side of the base of the carb, but from the chart it says yours may be on the bowl. Find this number and compare with the table to see the matching distributor model#. Look for something like this on your Solex carb:
While I agree that the 205T is the correct match for the "VW 226-1" stamped manual transmission 30Pict-3 carb but this does NOT mean the 205T will work with the autostick version of the carb which was designed to work with the 205AA, 205AD or 205AE distributors. Which carb do you have? You may not have the original carb that came with your manual transmission. Match the distributor to the carb... not the transmission. _________________ AshMan40

The 113 905 205T is not vacuum and mechanical, it's vacuum only. _________________ 1960 Ragtop w/Semaphores "Inga" |

113 905 205 T is the correct one. If you are looking for a match for your "B6" engine https://vwnos.com has some. |

113 905 205 T should work well. You can of course use many different distributors in combination with that carburetor.
If you have a 1600 single port and plan to stay with a single port then that is the way to go. If you ever go to dual port you will do better with a 34 PICT 3 and an SVDA or a DVDA. _________________ www.vwnos.com [email protected]

The 113905205T SVA distributor is excellent after restoration. You need to make sure the vacuum canister holds vacuum as well.
This distributor is one of my top sellers. I run one on my 1969 bug too. _________________ Contact me at [email protected]
