Its been a little while since I've posted so I made this:

CRC inspired short shifter. Ball bearings and shoulder bolts in the gimble. The stock shifter was driving me crazy. Very sloppy with too much throw. The push-down reverse lockout is not needed with the Subaru tranny and the spring loaded joint just added to the floppy feel. Throw at the knob is 2" at most, and maybe a little too short but very precise. I may shorten the base and trim some off the end of the rod to get a little more movement.
