Looking for help on identifying the size and original use of this motor. I received it from a family friend who was unsure of the size or anything.
VW B5185308 - on block under alternator
VW 211.101.102D - on block Side under valves

1968-69 1500 SP.
So it started life as a 1500cc, but who knows what it is now. It has a aftermarket generator stand.
