When I was in high school, I traded my 1970 Westy Bus for a 1966 Baja Bug.

The Bus had been pretty reliable but the Baja wasn't.

After a couple of harsh 1980s Colorado winters pushing the Baja when it wouldn't move under its own power, I finally installed a rear-window defroster.

Then, whenever we'd shove the Baja down the street, our hands would stay warm.
