11 summers of this now with our family of 4. It sorta blows my mind how it’s all worked out. I love these trips and am so thankful that my family still gets in the Bus and does these with me.
I usually post when I’m home but figured I’d get a jump on it mid way through the trip this year.
Doing this on my phone so will write more later. More of a picture story for now.
Basic trip is Moab, Arches, (hopefully) Canyonlands and currently in Telluride.
But just a minute, I have to up load some pics... _________________ 71 Westy 1600 DP, all stock. (^I usually drive this.)

Sure looks like you eat very well when you camp!
That's my favorite way to travel, too.
Thanks for sharing another family trip. You've got a great family. _________________ -Kent-

Love those pictures. I always like road trip stories. Is that a crack I see in your windshield? _________________ 1972 Bus 1700 cc Single Carb. But not a progressive.

^^ yes it is a crack. Been there now for a few years. I need to replace it but a bit afraid of what I'll find when I take it out. It's on the list though. _________________ 71 Westy 1600 DP, all stock. (^I usually drive this.)

Some sort of phallic imagery?
Love the road trip posts. Looking forward to the video version next month in December You have a sweet family and awesome memories with the buses. (And without a bus) Thanks for sharing. I’m envious.
Is that a Yeti Eagle on the bike rack? Looks very John Parker “FRO” turquoise. _________________ Keep on Busin'

Kids are getting so big! That’s a wonderful age for a young lady, everything’s perfect. At age 12, the girl brain turns in anD you have a small adult. Boy brain also turns on but has to be shared with 5 other boys.
Don’t forget to paint when you have your window out. _________________ .ssS! |

Great photos and family adventure! Certainly enjoy reading these family posts of yours and hoping I can get my 2 young girls & wife out on some cool camping road trips in the future..
I bought by bus for $200 in Telluride in 1993 when I was a ski bum for a year dogging dishes at a restaurant on S. Oak St. Bus was in perfect view from the base of lift 8 and saw it everyday then bought it towards the end of the ski season and drove it east. _________________ '70 Westy

^^ lol! You're right, it's been a good 10 years since I've adjusted it. Works well still but it's a long pull. _________________ 71 Westy 1600 DP, all stock. (^I usually drive this.)
