We put together a quick video on our dispersed camping trip we took a few weeks ago to the Gifford Pinchot NF near Mt. St. Helens. This is our first time filming and editing a video and we learned a lot so please bear with us!
We hope to keep uploading videos to supplement our trip reports we post here and on our site. Hope you enjoy it!

Thanks guys! We couldn't use quite a bit of footage as we found out later we had a mic issue and it was filled with a lot of static. Live and learn. Also our camera was on a 60i setting for video which is why it does not look great while the camera is panning. We are heading to Sunriver for the week and then camping near Sisters for a few days and hope to get some more footage for another video. Want to play with the drone a bit more as well.

Looks like a fun trip. I went to school in Portland and it brought back memories of my time in Oregon and washington state. Beautiful country out there.

This is great! Thank you. I love that Dick Proeneke was involved. I find it funny how Vanagon people are also Proeneke people.
Mrs. Joetiger and I have discussed videos for our trips, but we decided that she would be a very meticulous director who'd require multiple takes to get a shot, and that could result in a very unpleasant traveling experience for all involved.

Yeah we love that documentary and my wife just started reading the book.
Videos are hard. Always thinking of the next shot and making sure you have enough footage. It is fun to learn new stuff though.

Not to make this into our Youtube channel post, but we just did a new one that is much higher quality. Has a cool shot of the rear suspension working too
