Hi, what year did the cool tins start? I have a T0 engine but the tins underneath are regular Beetle style. This has defiantly been rebuilt though in the seventies and I suspect they were swapped. Went to look at my parts motor (also a T0) and there were no cool tins whatsoever above the tubes!!

I believe they were introduced in 72.

My 71 has regular tins, I think they are a 72 and 73 only item
