Bus trans ID numbers

I am going through a pile of bus transmissions this week. All are big nut transmissions. Can someone please attach a link so I could possibly Id the years they came out of??

You can see what day the transmission case was cast on. It is just like the engines, 3 sets of 2 digit numbers.
day day, month month, 1or2or3 year.
14 04 23 is april 14th 1963 or april 14th 1973.

So it would correct to interpret this casting as November 17 1960 (as it is a tunnel swing axle centre section)?

I believe that early split case transaxles have the casting dates on the bottom outside of the case halves at the seam closer to the nose cone. Certainly until September 1955.
