Your reading this correcly. I found on Ebay they make an adjustable idle jet for webers. This seems like a great tool for Dyno tuning an engine to get the correct jet sizing but not sure about daily driving. has anyone used these or know anything about them?
Here is a link to the jet https://www.ebay.com/itm/WEBER-Adjustable-Idle-Fue...0667.m2042 |

Those would be cool but I don't see how you could reference a jet # from them. you could just leave them in and if they get plugged just take the needles out and they should clean them selves out or you could give them a blast of carb cleaner, just remember to count the number of turns out.

IMO not a good idea. No calibration or knowing where the hell you are, would need a ox sensor on each cylinder. |

Good ideal for one single throat carb but would be a tuning nightmare to adjust 4 exactly the same to get the engine to run smoothly on a set of dual IDF's. _________________ 2017 Street Comp Champion - Thunder Valley Raceway Park - Noble, OK

It seemed like it was a good idea, to use it on a Dyno then pul the jet and run it on a jet flow measuring tool. but now it sounds like a very tedious task to try and set 4 jets then pull them carefully and find what each carb really wants for idles. |
