I have an AHU tdi with a pump off of a vw 2.8 diesel from Europe, but it doesnt seem to run right. It did once upon a time, but that was before I got it. the PO pulled the head and replaced the gasket, after he blew a radiator hose, but there were no *visible* signs of damage. I'm thinking a couple cylinders are warped, I have not put a compression tester on it.
So! are there any compression testers out there for around 100 bucks that I can test this with? Is it going to be the type to use a glow plug hole or an injector hole?
