Anyone see this or know anything about it? I popped onto Goggle this morning and it was my greeting page!

I would think someone has posted something but I could not find anything using the manufacturer name.

Here is the link to the news feed.

Are we really surprised the Chinese are skirting IP laws and ripping off other carmakers?

I think it's cool. Too bad we will never see that in the US.

Although I agree about the Chinese overtly copying current and past production vehicles, I think I can give them a pass here (for the most part). VW abandoned the T2 and it's styling many, many years ago. I know VW still fiercely defends against usage of the air-cooled images and styling, but they refuse to support any air-cooled vehicles.

I think the Chinese bus is probably far enough away from the original to not cross a line here.

I think it is Karma. The Chinese have been making most of the cheaper parts, for air cooled cars, for years! It was inevitable!

Does not mean I would purchase one, but it has a flare to it.

I seriously doubt the US would allow imports from that company. They have a history of ripping off designs against world laws. Isn't that the company that made a copy of the BMW crossover a few years back? Man, that thing was copied EXACTLY.

I still think its cool though. The one time I've seen the Chinese copy a style, but make it in a different flair.

Kinda looks like it was a VW Bus inspired by the designers of “Monster Mutt”.
