Clean body, no rust, clean title, I'll go $3500, not running.

Like to see the vin# first to run some checks.

Bring it by, I have cash.

Mark

I suppose it depends on the location.

I bought this https://www.thesamba.com/vw/forum/viewtopic.php?t=743839

for somewhere in the range the above posters mentioned. for a New England van, it's pretty dam spotless, other than every single thing "tin" (backing plates, hose clamps etc) are a mess.

i'm a baywindow guy mostly but what I will say about vanagons is this...

people looking for them tend not to want a huge project....meaning that dragging one out of the woods and doing a resto doesn't seem to be what the average vanagon buyer is looking for...they would rather do interior and live in it.

what I offered for a non-runner would get me a throat punch here in samba land, but the owners bit....but my offer reflected the time/money just to make it RUN, not be roadworthy

anyway, you have to be real with yourself....if it's not running and you know it will cost XXXX.XX to make it run, the buyer probably knows that too and should be priced accordingly

Thanks for the correction. I used to be a nice guy, then I ruined it by exposing myself to the public.

Also the fact that people are agreeing with Skills, it's a turn of events for samba history

It's hard to tell, but the A/C and PM appear to be '86+ accessories. If so, that's definitely worth extra $$$
