Hello all!
What is your typical cylinder head temperature? I’d love to get an idea of the spectrum. Please specify location and type of your sensor.

350 normal running temps in 70+ degree weather, a touch lower if cold out. Will generally stay near that even if driving in 100 degree weather. Oil temps at 220. Temp gauge ring on the #3 spark plug. Might get closer to 390-400 if on long mountain climbs in high temps, but that's rare. I run an auxiliary oil cooler and fan. |

Know that the 400 degree is really not o be passed. At 400 degrees aluminum has half of it's strength. If you see 400 and climbing, lower the load. _________________ 84 Vanagon Pop Top Conversion from Tin Top, 1970 Ghia - all sweet rides! Love em!
