My friend was offered an early 60s KG convertible that was originally sold in Nepal and then into India.

But, there are also several chopped Beetles and a few KGs here in India that we know of. So, how could we confirm that this is the genuine article?

I've seen postings that say look for reinforcement panels under rear seat (?). Reference pics would help when we go to look at the car this weekend.
