I am in the process of rebuilding and reinforcing a stock Pedal cluster for my car and I would like to rebush the brake lever and bore for the clutch pedal shaft, does any body make a kit for it?
I found that one of those old tapered angle iron style tent stakes will fit the clutch arm perfectly to turn it into a box section, I am also going to bend and weld a piece of round bar around the bottom, I am going to put a gusset on the brake pedal to strengthen it up. I am also going to weld the pedals to the arms because they are only spot weld together.
I also plan to do something about the hook for the clutch cable, I would also like to move the clutch arm over about a inch, has any body ever made a longer shaft with a spacer to do it? any thing else I should do while its apart?

I am just finishing almost everything you listed. The bushing kit is sold by Wolfsburg West. Mine was tight, so I didn’t replace the bushings. I bought a clutch shaft and an accelerator pedal kit from Classic Bug Parts. A little expensive, but top notch quality and he also makes the extended clutch arm. I have some pics on my build post.

To reinforce the clutch pedal, I cut and bent some 1/8” thick steel to fit the convex side. Worked great to stiffen it up. I used cardboard to make a template.
