I'm working on a friend's 66 bus and these parts were stuck to the two drainplug magnets, one on each magnet. Trans shifts normally with no issues.

Can anyone identify what these are? I'm assuming they are terminal?

It looks vaguely like a piece of the side gear where they crack but not really. Maybe a thing left in from assembly that got hit while sitting in the bottom. Weird that there would be half in each chamber.
