Has anyone notice this area of the lifters where the push rod sits? The Wizemann are the ones that look like the oem vw lifters. The stock push rod and the (CB Aluminum Super Duty push rod) fit & feel nice on both older style Engle, Wizemann lifters only.

Newer style,Engle lifter, both the stock or the aftermarket pushrod doesn't fit the engle lifter.

Actually, I guess it's hard to see. It's a deep bowl.

Those look as good. Does the push rod fit nice?

I haven't put a pushrod in it yet. It is just in my short block mock up. I couldn't see how they WOULDN'T fit well because the cup starts all the way at the edge, and is a smooth, deep bowl all the way down to center. Not like that scat one with just a tiny dimple, or the EMPI with the ledge the rod could catch on.

If I can remember, I'll jam a rod in the hole tomorrow Laughing
