Is it normal to have a bushing in alternator bracket (pic 2) and gap between alternator bracket-head (pic 1 at my thumb)?

When I installed water pump, I noticed loose bolt in picture 1. I remove alternator to find a bushing. I cleaned up bolt-bushing, reinstalled, but not sure it looks right, there is a gap between alternator bracket and head where my thumb is in picture. In parts manual I don’t see the bushing. When I put it together it does not look like the bolt will secure the alternator bracket to the head since there is a gap between head and bracket. I may be missing something or it is not intended to secure...Please advise. Thank you.

Look at this ebay listing. I appears that the bushing should be there.

Never crossed my mind to look at ebay...that is brilliant, I appreciate the help, thank you!

Does it seem that the gap between the bracket and the head is ‘normal’ when installed or is there a spacer that fills the gap?

Trying to figure out if designed this way or if I am missing something...Looking at the connection between the alternator bracket and the head via bolt-bushing, it appears that the bolt fastens the bushing to the head, there is a gap between bracket and head, where the bracket is allowed to float on the bushing. I am new to EV’s, I appreciate input.
