I have a .009 distributor that is, I’m sure very old. It advances a total of 22 degrees, which is fine. However, it’s fully advanced by 1500 RPM. It’s my understanding that the curve is pre-set. I thought I remembered seeing weight sets for those back in the day, no? |

A weak advance spring was my thought, though a too-heavy weight could be the issue depending on who the manufacturer is. _________________ 1960 Ragtop w/Semaphores "Inga" |

I was thinking a spring or different weights. I can’t find any parts though. Cap, points condenser but no springs or weights. |
