So...left to right.....ACN....Type 1....Type 4....right?

If what you used is the one one the left ...then your PR's should be just fine.

I think you are spot on that an adjuster just came loose. Bummer.

Update: I took my head to LA Products in Akron to have it checked out. The machinist said there was slight damage to the seat which he fixed while I waited and installed another valve which I had taken out of my spare heads. The cost was incredibly low. LA Products Volkswagen Specialties is stricktly aircooled VW products and a machine shop. Check it out if you live in the area.

So, going to order a set of thorsten adjusters, reinstall the head and the ACN pushrods and double check all the nuts, put back in the car and see…

While you are there...check your valve geometry. Ray
