Good find!
Do you prefer a original metal sunroof opening for this?

I'm lucky my space is limited. I am afraid that if I had enough space, everything would be ripped apart and half way finished. If I could find an original sunroof opening, I would defiantly prefer that over an aftermarket one.
Thanks Christian! |

Hello, figured I’d ask here rather than start a new thread. I’m in Anchorage, Alaska and picked up this early bus nose clip and front doors. The 74 year old fella cut up the bus years ago and only kept these pieces. The nose, with original safari windows, and dash look to be original palm green. Did VW sell a Palm Green Kombi? Thanks

Looks to be a Palm Green dash.
Take a look at this thread - The SK 692A special paint westfalia for more information about buses that were painted Palm Green below the belt line from the factory. _________________

Wow, great thread. Thanks for the link. What a shame it got cut up but glad he saved the nose and doors. _________________ Frontier Finds

Two visors, wonder if it was a Westfalia? Excellent piece, too bad it was cut up _________________ ---

Good eye. I bet you're correct. Alot of Westies made the trip to Alaska on a one way basis. _________________ Founder and Chairman Emeritus, ECMSAS
