I haven’t been able to find any answers on this one? Who made/provided the convertible rear seats? Did these come from VW, karmann, Other coach builder? They don’t appear to be modified from sedan... _________________ '67 deluxe bus w/the little windows

I think I have a extra rear vert seat from a 61, maybe easier than a sedan. I'm also from Indiana, Warsaw area |

Gary. I might be interested in that seat. Can you send a picture of condition ?
aa309……. Yes, If you’re referring the very original brick red I did have that seat. In this post I’m referring to pre 1955 convertible seats. They are different size, shape, etc than later.
Overall I am looking for info on who made them. _________________ '67 deluxe bus w/the little windows

I would guess, that since Kabs were coach builds from Karmann, had seats fabricated from outside jobbers? _________________ .

Nope Karmen wasn´t involved either.
KARMANN is the name you are looking for.
I would think the seats was made by same manufacturer that made seats for Volkswagen. |
