My pan was POR 15'd and the whole underside of the body I had an undercoating done, not quite as heavy as your typical bedliner, similar but just above basic. Can't remember what it was called. I was a bit nervous when it went in for paint after months of trying to decide color and looking at pages of color charts, but I think it was excited nervousness. At least you are going with a stock color, I went with a "custom" mix of a BMW color that came out more or less what I wanted, but when I saw it I liked what was done. You'll be really motivated once the color is sprayed!!

I think its a correct apron thats just been hacked by PO. Late ghias it was very nuanced.

I agree. Obus, you should be able to discern very easily by viewing the bottom edge of the apron while on your back, or crouching down and holding a mirror upwards. The bottom edge of the apron would have a small shaped ledge about 3/16" or 1/4" wide for stiffening, running horizontally (parallel to the ground) all along the length. This ledge would likely have been cut thru at the exhaust arches by a PO.

The "speed bump" gentle arches in c21's photo of a late Ghia above would maintain that stiffening ledge.

Hopefully the wait isnt too long. hits the body shop in 2 weeks and then has to get put back together mechanically
