Hello everyone, so I have researched this topic for awhile now and can't seem to locate an answer. Is there a diagram or some sort of guide that shows decal (tire pressure, etc.) placement for my 1971 SB?
I am thinking about getting one of these Wolfsburg West kits:

Any help is appreciated. |

I think it's not so very difficult.
- The 12Volt sticker goes to the driver side a-pillar below the dome light switch.
- The sticker for the washer bottle goes onto the washer bottle (upper half of the bottle so that it is in good visibility when the bottle is mounted).
- The sticker for the octane rating goes to the inside of the gas flap.
- The sticker for the valve lash goes to the fan shroud (near the right upper screw for the alternator) to close a hole there.
- The sticker for the tire pressure goes to the inside of the glove box lid (left of the lock).
Wait for someone to verify this information. _________________ AC:

The hole in the fan shroud you refer to using the valve clearance adjustment decal to cover is actually used to hold a clip to secure the inline fuse holder for the backup light circuit. _________________ 1969 autostick OE beetle sedan w/‘73 1600sp, BROSOL H30/31PICT, 205AA dist. |

Speaking of stickers...was the 12 Volt sticker used right through 1979? I don't remember seeing them on the mid 70s cars. I have one to install on my '75 and would love to know if it was there from the factory. |

I'm a bit disappointed that no one suggested that the OP stick them up his ass. Nothing personal, just a great opportunity to lower the tone... _________________ 1973 1303 with AB-motor - sporadic
