Hi !
Here is the light modular system but very effective for occasional sleeping
it consists of 2 glued lamele boards, one foldable and the other which is placed in the leather thong to avoid folding the foldable
here is the 1st in leather thongs
and then the 2nd from above which can be folded up to leave room for dressing
then seen from below that leaves room for a place to house clothes, shoes ect ect
the tablet folds up allowing you to have your feet on the ground to get dressed
here is the generated place
the surface is substantial for comfort
here is the bed that gives
with the curtains
with the curtains on the door side
I hope this will give you some idea

Hi ,
I continue with the accessory part of the saddlery in order to occasionally consider the bivouac in this bus during a meeting
I start with the detail of the seams that I wanted as discreet as possible or without visible seams, they are therefore located in the sides only
a zipper therefore makes it easier to clean or extract the cushions
then it was in the making of the blackout curtains that the work was done
from the outside it gives that
once the cushions are placed on a light but strong frame that I would detail later here
with blackout curtains

hello I will finish this project with the upholstery of the bus with my partner for many years this is the 4th achievement that I bring to him
the visit begins
the front cabin part
in couture detail
the rear cabin
the rear cabin more closely
the seat
the folder
the logo of the name I decided for this bus!
So here is my everyday utility for my various and varied professional and family activities
it will be time to tackle a bus project still 68 for my new future activity linked to the old vw;
so this will be my company van.
Unless I came to detail here my family residence acquired in 1992 the familly camper of 68 again

Hi
Here is finally the interior part linked to the theme of the film "top gun" that I wanted to explore!
the driver's door with the driver and the navigator
the passenger door with its 2nd Merlin co-pilot and the emblematic instructor
the eternal rival pilot and navigator
top gun school instruction major
then it is inside that the work continues with the refection and coordination of the complete upholstery
exit the horsehair and make way for the comfort foam
and to prevent the foam from disintegrating with the springs over time, the installation of a 1st price carpet does the job very well.
in addition it is cleaner because the horsehair will no longer be found on the wheel arches or even in the luggage compartment under the rear seats of the cabin
here you have an outline of the fabrics and the sewing design also that I wanted more innovative and inspired by what was done in the 70s the big biscuit

to be continued finally if you are interested .... |

Hi !
I continue with his transformation into the theme of the film and playing the camouflage card!
a work done without a net in the open air in order to visualize and try to match the fabric of the rear cover
the here in an element of decor sporting it seems is not bad after all
then it was the turn of the upholstery that I tackled
so before doing anything stupid you have to mark with tape in order to have everything in mind
suddenly I make it pass in the world of comfort by choosing to do without old horsehair
even if they were still in good condition they will certainly find a new buyer
you want an idea of the fabrics,
it's simple it's the same as that of the cabin blackout

Hi !
here is a little more detail on the elements of the roof rack;
I start with the positioning of the hall and the future gallery
at first approach it seems to correspond, there will have just been to catch the curvature and bend the top a little in order to bin yourself on the gallery
then as there had been holes in the dashboard, I decided on the position of the stalk for the fog lights and for long ranges
then it's the turn of the air piping for the horn trumpets from the engine compartment for the compressors
So I decided to position my trumpets in height rather than under the frame.
suddenly the piping passes through the hollow bars of the gallery
so it remains discreet and does not risk entering damage when loading in the gallery and this happens near the trumpets
here is more closely the result
otherwise a side view of the scale
a view of the gallery and the camouflage net
and a view of the front with the different lights

The a$#&+#@ in me click and thought "camoflauge bus" and US Navy? Does not compute........
But.... this is a really nicely done.
the camouflage is very interesting. not like any real military camouflage. so much more artisitic and cool. Subtle and very unobtrussive.
Kudos.
Soldiers dont like Navy boys in their f$&#&@$$& white uniforms, but sweet bus. |
thank a lot ! |

Hi !
good this is the time when the work was to be done on the roof having suffered from hailstorms
the work is done in the open air in order to be able to breathe and also to evacuate the sanding dust
a stroke of primer in order to control all the faults in order to resume them later was necessary
then it was the masking and the passage in the paint booth
the whole bus has been protected
and
seen from above the result
an aluminum piece allows me to make an extension to put the old roof bars and planned for other French cars on the roof of the bus
the recovery still has good, with this gallery of small utility which will be adapted to the bar of roof and the gadgets make their appearance;
those were collected in the attic of my wife's parents

Hi!
I continue with views in situation in the dumpster, I want to specify that I prepare myself with this configuration to be autonomous in meeting like any camper but in version for artificial military use
for the night lighting I opted for a real very powerful led lamp plug into an exterior socket type cigarette lighter
it will light up a nightclub incidentally
more traditional the pifco lamp to be more connected with the bus
the waterproof exterior electrical box for the various accessories and connection
the beacon plugs are in place and will also allow storage on the gallery
canvas camouflage bikini
the accessories take their place little by little
water canister, gas cylinder for the airsoft rifle and the rifle is under the carpet
two overall views of the layout with the compression cooler also connected to the exterior cigarette lighter
and next
