I am working on my gearbox and am looking for the VW294b tool/jig in order to test the gear shifting etc.

Does any know if these are still for sale (I found one company - however no international shipping) or does any one have one set for sale?

Thanks!

Here's an A tool. Use the search better. Play with the words. Samba's search used to cover more ground. Now you have to plug in the precise words.

a scrap case can be cut up and used as an option.

I bought the last new one earlier this year from Snap-on's VW tools program, not inexpensive. After I purchased it, it was listed as "discontinued" in their catalog. The "windowing" anthracitedub describes is a good way to go, and a lot cheaper than buying the tool!

thanks for the responses

Does anyone have the dimensions / drawing of the plate to share (or willing to measure for me? I am thinking reproducing one.

Using an old case is of course an option as well, the plate is smaller to store afterwards... Wink
