Started on the cage this past weekend at a good friends. A lot more to be done. Cleaning up some parts i got and trying to figure out the length of the tweed arm setup i picked up. Got a 6 over beam and some 5X5's. Just placed an order for parts to get the front end done minus shocks. |

I have a 71 super that I am doing the same thing too! Just getting started I have the body off and chopped the front off the pan. I will be following your build so the more pictures you share the more help for me! |

Well picked up a Honda J35 a little earlier than planned, but oh well. Trying to figure out what master cylinder to get. Running disc brakes front and rear. |

Why do you want to reverse it? My bug has a subaru, and I am unfamiliar with a j35.. |
To avoid possibly cutting the firewall for the intake to clear. |

Ah makes a lot of sense now, that is way worse then mine. I just made a 180 adapter for my throttle body and extended the wiring to reach. No reason you can't extend and reroute wiring if needed. An extra foot or so in wiring won't make any difference in output or input signals. _________________ my build page http://www.thesamba.com/vw/forum/viewtopic.php?t=536267 |

Been awhile. Working a lot. Haven't gotten a whole lot done. Have tank remounted to make room for a radiator eventually. Picked up a really nice fiberglass front end that had never been mounted. Got new master and front brake lines all done. Have everything for the rear just need to make time. Pulled the trigger and put a deposit down on a mendeola 2D. Figured pay once cry once |
