Great place to go if you want to pay five bucks for a bad cup of coffee.

My cars are for driving, not for sipping hot beverages.

Off the topic but is that a drive-thru only?
Because otherwise that is the crappiest looking Starbucks I've ever seen.
If it's a free-standing building like that, they are all super nice around here with inside and outside seating.
They recently built a new one in my town and it's nicer inside than my house.

I have heard the in SoCal all new Starbucks must have a drive-through, and some are closing or leaving out the seating.

One of our local StarBucks is the standard style, they are redoing a small drive threw Bank building half a block away as their new StarBucks location. A sign of the times. Smile

I’ve been there but always made it a point to just ask for a small, medium or large. I don’t use their snooty monikers for a simple cup of joe. I gave up on 2 or 3 dollar coffee and just slum over at Mickey Ds. I can get a senior cup for 89 cents. What you perceive as bad might be a burnt flavor, am I right ? The reason for that is the beans keep longer if they are slightly overdone. But over half the customers can’t tell as they get their coffee thinned down with all kinds of other shit. Real men drink black coffee not the milkshakes they serve

Bit of an oxymoron, isn’t it? Very Happy

Pour over for me at camp with water boiled from fuel, not electrons stored in batteries made from fuel. Inefficient. Store hot coffee in a Thermos (tm) not a Yeti.....a 3x marked up Thermos (tm)

Burnt, sour, too weak, you name it -- they can screw up coffee every way possible and yet still have the nerve to charge the equivalent of a half pound or more of coffee for a single cup. The problem I think is the folks that work there aren't true coffee drinkers and simply don't know how to make straight, plain coffee correctly. Instead, they're aficionados of the proverbial candy bar in a cup. Stereotypes and bravado aside, coffee is best black -- if you can't drink the coffee without dumping a load of sugar and flavouring into it, then it's crap coffee. Mickey D's is usually a safe bet for a halfway decent cup, cheap too. Wink

Like pizza or a great hamburger what's a good cup of coffee is often subjective.

I'm supposed to limit my daily coffee/caffeine intake to 2 cups caffeinated. I figure that's about 200mg of caffeine. But I still want to drink my usual 7 cups per day. What's a Bug driving geezer to do?

5 heaping half teaspoons of coffee grounds equals one of my cups.

Walmart Colombian Medium Dark is 100% Arabica. Great caffeinated coffee for the price. (that's all I buy from Walmart)

Papa Nicholas French Roast Dark Roast Ground is a good but pricey WATER decaffeinated decaf.

1st cup in the morning, 5 half teaspoons Walmart
2-6 cups during the day, 4 half teaspoons Papa and 1 half teaspoon Walmart
Last cup of the day, 5 half teaspoons Papa

That's close enough to 200mg caffeine and a good tasting cup of coffee. Call me a sugar addicted wimp but I love my teaspoon of sugar and 2 tablespoons of CoffeeMate Italian Sweet Cream in each and every cup. Delicious and about 100 calories per cup.

Keeps me going.

If you drink sbux coffee, you probably have to have your wife or girlfriend adjust your valves.

I'm guessing if you don't like CoffeeBucks you don't like Olive Garden either, they are probably about the same level.
Olive Garden is worse by far IMHO

I can't tell if this is an insult?
To generalize, Women have better fine motor control but it has more to do with hand and finger size. So if you have small man hands, you are good.

I wear medium gloves so my valves are dialed in Very Happy
