Today is quiet, as the whole family came on Christmas Eve. I cooked for 16 this year, which is a few less. Two of the grandkids have moved away to Idaho. *snif*

But we all had a lovely time here. It never really got sunny, but it quit raining & the streets almost dried up enough for me to take out the Kit Kar.

Perhaps today. The sun is showing!

Merry Christmas everyone!

Spent 2 days madly cooking - and wrapping - and cleaning... Had almost the whole of my family here (sister and brother-in-law wisely stayed in Friday Harbor) for Christmas food and festivities. Funny that now everyone is 21 or older, booze becomes a gift.

Sitting with a much needed cocktail enjoying the fire and twinkling trees.

Thinking I really should've bought the studded tires for the bus, but don't really need to go anywhere if it snows for a few days, so we'll see.

Looking forward to a less bonkers New Year... but I thought that last year, so now I'm being careful with my wishes.
