I haven't seen Brad online here for quite some time.
Last signed in on Dec, 6 2020.
Does anyone here know if all is good with him?
I always like reading his posts. So there is a little bit of a laps in my entertainment here.
Lets hope all is well with Brad and his family.

No. I really don't want to bother him. Especially if there is some churn going on in Bard's life.
I know that he has close friends on here. I thought that maybe one of them could help out. _________________ I have learned over the years.

Sent a PM to him yesterday. No response yet. But, if he is playing with trains in his basement, I do not expect a response. I would not respond! _________________ Jimbo

If it were any other time I would say he took a winter holiday but that seems unlikely. |

His last post seems to have been November 30. That's over a month now and out of character! |

Yeah, well you were on my mind too. But then I noticed that you checked in. So in my mind. All was good with you. I also figured the lack of posts were due to, the sickness we can't talk about.
Thanks for doing what you do to save lives everyday.

He is doing well! Got a message from him this morning.
“ Hey Jimbo,
Thanks for thinking of me.
Ya, everything is fine. Just burnt out on VWs and decided to build models for a few months. Got back into 1/35 scale armour modelling and have been pretty much living in my basement since October. Winter has been long and cold and can't really go out and about so been having fun with the newest generation of injection moldings. WOW things have changed in 25 years.
See you around.
Cheers”
Guess he is having fun gluing plastic together. I know I did when I was a young kid! _________________ Jimbo

Hey guys.
I'm still around. As I told Jimbo all is well with me and my family, just laying low for a while.
While last year started out really slow both at home and work, by late summer I was going ball to the wall at both working 12 hours a day 7 days a week at my day job.
I had 5 days off in Sept and Oct. and those I spent on yard work for winter and finishing engines.
Also last year I got a gig building engines for some offroad buggy builders so cranked out a flat deck full of long blocks in a few months in my "spare time"
Then we had a huge snow storm and when I was stuck at home for 4 days I said screw it, burned a 4 figure hole in my credit card, bought a metric shit ton of 1/35 and 1/16 German tank models, a new airbrush and some fresh glue and paint with my over time money, locked the toolboxes and door to my engine room and headed to the basement for the winter with a stack of plastic and Gershwin on my mp3 player .
Cheers |
