I just on a whim was looking up tires and saw...
165/65R15 Continental procontact tx
MIGHT prove to be a fantastic tire for your 4.5-5" wide wheels.
Very unusual to see a higher shelf "grand touring" tire in a size this narrow, maybe it is a new thing?, or a one off?......do not know, but it's news to me. |

I would love to put a pair of those on the front of my Buggy but my wheels are too wide! |

They are a recent "GT" all-season tire and Continental is the only one offering this size. Great tire for the 4 1/2" rim width, does fit up to 6" rim width.
Slightly smaller than stock overall diameter but slightly bigger than stock section width. |

It's a great size tire. I used them on the front of my lowered baywindow for a while, but changed to 175/55 (about 7/8" shorter) recently. The 165/65 is almost identical height to a 135R15 as well but better contact patch. |
