So far the conversation is set for the fall sometime. SOOOOOO many unknowns still. I'm currently working 16 hour days for the next 7 weeks at least, so it's unfortunately in the back of my mind :/ _________________ 1986 Canadian Syncro Westy TDI - 1989 Syncro Single Cab - 2001 Audi S4 - 1981 VW Caddy ABA - 1980 VW Caddy EV - 1973 VW T-181 |

Fall sounds great. A few of us went out to Moab last October and it was wonderful as usual.
Please let me know if there's anything at all I can do to help.

Assuming the border re-opens in time, I will be there and if my powers of persuasion don`t fail me, Mrs. Howesight will join me. She loves the Solstice events and Moab, but hates our long highway drive. _________________ '86 Syncro Westy SVX |

Just typing out loud here, but Oct 14-17 looks good for me. Fall break for schools here. _________________ 1986 Canadian Syncro Westy TDI - 1989 Syncro Single Cab - 2001 Audi S4 - 1981 VW Caddy ABA - 1980 VW Caddy EV - 1973 VW T-181 |

We're in. I'm a lover of sunshine, but by Fall we're fully topped up. Adding some shade/green is a bonus. Where were you guys in this photo?

I agree that Fall is likely the best time since hopefully the vaccines will have had a positive affect on our ability to travel and gather.
How is the Labor Day weekend (Sept 2-5) for your school situation? That weekend will be a holiday for most folks here in the US. _________________ Dave O

Drive down a week early.
This gives you time to bumble around and fix your van.
Pick up the Mrs. at the airpot in Grand Junction CO. the day before the event. _________________

This is what I frequently do with my wife Donna. Denver is only a short half day away. _________________ Dave O

Yes. Lone Mesa (4 of 5 sites) is reserved. It is a dry heat. Seriously. Try Maryland in the 90’s with 80% humidity. |
Yes, but there's probably shade in Maryland. Lone Mesa not so much. |

I’ll take it.
Plenty of shade under the awning. |
