So I'm considering redoing my 65. I'm looking for some inspiration. Doesn't have to be a 65, but I'd like to see the best looking looking bugs you've ever seen. Patina cars need not apply!

Probably won't inspire you, but I think they were beautiful just the way they came out of the factory.

I probably wouldn't go back to stock but if there is a great looking color/interior combo I'd be interested in seeing it.

Go to the archives and look at the brochures for 65 beetle. That's where you go for inspiration.

It's all prepped for a respray, just thinking i may want something different. I built this in 2003 so I've been looking at it for a long time.

Go resto-custom....mostly stock body retaining factory chrome and bumpers. Lower it with a nice set of aftermarket or Porsche wheels like:
