I've read all the posts about this . So there's that.
I need to drop the front down about 6 inches. I don't think I'll be able to get that with the beam and spindles. Thinking I might be able to squeak out 4 in. with that combo.
How far can I increase the length of that slot in the beam, and what'll I get ?
I just need a good 6 in. _________________ Looking for SP Kadron manifolds...please !!

Have you included 1 1/2-2" for shorter front tires as well? 185/60-15's are only 23 3/4" tall and there's a bunch even shorter. I can't imagine a 25-25 1/2" tire clearing everything with a 356 dropped that much... Al _________________ On a lifelong mission to prove (much to my wife's dismay) that Immaturity is Forever!! |

Currently have 185/55's mounted on these wheels. When the car is on the ground I have 27 1/4 " to the ground, from the top of the fenderwell. with an appx 6 inch space between the top of the tire to the bottom of the fender. Like to see that at zero.

Took out the adjusters to grind up the slot. This is the look I'm after, and will require spindles. _________________ Looking for SP Kadron manifolds...please !!

So i took the beam adjusting block out, and ground the top down 1/4 inch and notched the beam slot 1/2 inch. Dropped the car 3 inches and still has plenty of travel in the front. Now onto the dropped spindles to give me almost 3 inches more. Plus running a 185/60 tire.
