I’m in the parts gathering stages for a 2165. 78mm Empi crank. 94B AA kits. Heads will most likely be Panchitos with CNC chamber’s. I had my heart set on a Berg 1 5/8” header to clear the thermostat. They are NLA.
I was trying to go kind of old school with a traditional extractor header. A1 offers one to clear the thermostat but in a sidewinder. Do I wait for a used Berg header or is there other offering out there? If a used Berg pops up would an 1 1/2” not strangle this combo?
By the way cam is not decided upon, and the carbs are 40 Dellortos. They’re what I have on hand. Not looking for a race engine but easy on the valve train and spirited to drive. |

1 1/2 will work but will leave a few ponies behind on the top end
fk8 & some nice 1:4's will be easy on the valve train & lifter bores _________________ 'Black Ice'Drag Buggy 'Turbo'
