I have a no-name IDF intake box and the UMP one, both with the integrated velocity stacks. I took a picture with a mechanic's mirror down each velocity stack and was entirely unsurprised to note that the UMP ones are perfect and the Chinese ones are misaligned by 3/16 or so.

And now, the UMP velocity stack: (I had put a new gasket on with the UMP box, and this picture is actually very pessimistic. Once I trimmed the gasket like the yellow one was, the UMP velocity stack position and diameter was obviously PERFECT)

Just a friendly reminder that the extra money gets you something.
