Distributor: VW 113-905-205T, Bosch 0231 137 035 or 036
Can Use: VW 113-905-205M, Bosch 0231 137 021
Replacement: VW 111-905-205AA, Bosch 0231 137 039 |

If he's having trouble finding a 113 T he's even less likely to find a 113 M. The T was used for two years, 1969-70 (2,415,413 made)while the 113 M was only used for one year- 1968 (1,136,134 made). I have a full milk crate of 113 T's, only a few 113 M's. You won't find a distributor stamped with 0 231 137 036 on this planet. The 111 AA will work but it was a dealer service department part and not very common. Keep looking but don't dig deeper into your wallet.

All three of the above distributors are vacuum advance only and use the same vacuum canister. It's the points, rotor and cap that change from one to the other.
