I've got an 89 Syncro tintop and I'm adding two solar panels on the roof. This must be a fairly common thing to do and I've looked around but haven't found any info on how to get the wiring from the roof to the controller inside. I'd rather not drill a hole in the roof if I can avoid it. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks,
r

Thru the D-pillar air intake vent into engine bay and toward the battery?

If your wires are thin enough you should be able to run them through the front door, near the B pillar. Another route is down through the vent in the D pillar, but that can make for a long run depending on where your charge controller is.

I've run mine through the cracked driver's side slider window for a few years now and that's obviously not ideal, but it worked when I was installing them and I haven't fixed it yet.

I ran mine through the D pillar vent as well.
