I want to mount my auto club badge on the rear grille, but I can’t figure how. Can you reach the backside of the grille somehow, or do you have a trick for how to get a bracket and mounting nuts behind there? _________________ 1966 Volkswagen 1300 Sedan (now 1641), 6 volt, L456 Ruby Red, Platinum leatherette. |

Seems like your club would have some ideas. I’d probably use some earth magnets . |

3M automotive double sided tape comes to mind. _________________ 1960 Ragtop w/Semaphores "Inga" |

Thanks! Yeah, I was considering this, but wasn’t sure there would be enough surface area on the Beetle grille to mount it properly.
What’s the thinnest tape 3M makes? I’ve found the 1.1 mm, but it seems thicker than modern emblem applications. _________________ 1966 Volkswagen 1300 Sedan (now 1641), 6 volt, L456 Ruby Red, Platinum leatherette. |
