Looks pretty solid. I'm thinking it'll be RNM at $78k. Last 23 did sell at $75k, but I have a feeling consignor will want higher than market value, claiming original paint.

And the original paint claim is not standing up to any scrutiny, as picture 59 can attest.

"Yes, they are original!" Very Happy

This Bus will look a ton better with the interior redone and complete

Is he saying it's all original paint?
No way on the red.
I see overspray in the pics of red.
Maybe on the top but it looks pretty nice for a "rainy" weather Bus.
It's clear the pedals are painted wrong. White pedals, etc. I'd suspect front floor work and a repaint there.

For what it's worth the last 23 sold on BAT was mine and it actually sold for 78k as that was our reserve and BAT made up the difference from the high bid of 75k to make the ensure the sale.

You can see overspray on the door latches. Shitty separation lines around the rear hatch and the doors. So, maybe he means original color? The bus looks like it was gutted and someone put it back together using their collection of different bus parts.
It is real, looks pretty solid, but it’s basically a project bus. I doubt it will make reserve unless the guy is realistic meaning realizes it’s not a $200k bus but is a $70k project bus.

The single cab is the sort of bus everyone used to drive back when people used to drive buses everyday which is less and less common. It’s in that weird zone like the 21 that didn’t sell and the 23 that’s up now, it really doesn’t fit in the current reality of the bus market which is big money wants nice looking and done buses. Yet it’s likely to expensive to be considered a project bus.

$15k is a deal, that'll barely cover what they have in Bondo and Welding wire

That is common on Brazilian buses. It is to keep rain water off of you when entering the bus.

I don’t even bother to pick apart the Brazilian terds on BaT anymore. The ones that are “restored” there are absolute garbage.

Yes, but you can net out your costs to date if you have a competent accountant.

That’s news to me. I guess if you are a dealer or a shop and writing off expenses you have to. But the average person usually loses money on classic cars.
