neat, i'll have to get one next time i am there. too bad they had to put a goddamned peace sign on the front of the bus.
oh well, i guess that's why they make industrial marking pens with black ink. _________________ thebucket: I invested in hoodride, now DBD won't return my call?

yes, trader joes first store was in pasadena, started out as pronto joes a mini mart and in 1967 then decided to become a specialty store, if i remember the story correctly. the company was sold sometime in the late 80's to a german family and is still privately owned. in 2000 tj's started to plot their takeover and made their way back east through arizona the midwest eventually opening stores in philly and new york. we now have 300 something stores (prolly more, i just done give a fuck to be honest) and have distribution centers in the midwest and east coast. im trashed and ill check my facts tomorrow...goodnite _________________ 64 kombi

They even have their own fan site ...

Not bad for a company with estimated sales of $6.5 Billion dollars. That's a lot of insulated bags!

funny twice i remember karl albrect doing tours of the stores . he showed up at store #100 IN S.F. while i was working, i remember the entourage he had with him.
things have majorly changed since 2002, new CEO, new ideas... not all good but i do like the splitty on the bag!
thanks dan for making me think about work on my day off LOL _________________ 64 kombi
