Hi there ,

finally after is coming togheter, I have made the rear hood but there is difference between left and right
The whole distance looks good for me...
It's the 4 bolts on the hood or the 2 hangers ?
Procedures ?

I would start with the three bolts under the cowling that holds the bracket, slide the left hinge bracket toward the rear slightly. Then you may have to adjust the hood bracket to hinge screws after, and bring the hood down a smidge. Also put some painter's tape along the edge so you don't scratch anything. I think the right side looks good.

Make small adjustments. When all else fails, and you are really close, I've had luck with taking a #2 Philips screwdriver and sticking it into the hinge bracket hole and making small bend tweaks to open or close a gap.

Off topic...
That paint job turned out super nice! I like the colour too.
Be sure to post a few glamour shots once everything is back together.

Even more off topic...
A few years ago I spent some time in beautiful Basel and enjoyed the Tattoo.
The guesthouse was situated by the river Rhein just vis-à-vis the caserne. Too cool! Cool

Yes that is a beautiful paint job. That's why I mentioned using the painter's tape.

You can actually make fine adjustments using your bare hands. The bolts allow you to set the gap and the level between body and hood. Try it . The brackets can also be bent for further adjustment.

Now obviously it would be ideal to fine tune all this before any paint is applied.
